In addition to our pinball offerings, we at Gameprom have had our noses to the grindstone on a new game which is sure to have malacophiles dripping with delight.  “Battle Slugs” is a strategic game which pits demonic red slugs vs. green angelic ones in a classic ‘good vs. evil’ territorial grab, much like the one taking place right now in your soul.  The game is somewhat similar to games such as Reversi and Tic-Tac-Toe but adds a few new twists that make the game a real puzzler.  You must think strategically as you “slug it out” to seize control of an array of hexagons, advancing in rank from “Fresh Off the Lawn” to “Gastropod-in-Chief”.  Creeping into the App Store soon!

War Pinball hasn’t been on the market for long at all and already we’re getting cries from our user base to port these three hot tables to the Mac.  Well, all-righty then!  We’re working on it now, so be on the look out for War Pinball FOR MAC, soon marauding an iOS device NEAR YOU.

Been hungering to enjoy the vibrant color, artistic graphics, and authentic physics of Gameprom pinball tables in greater detail or on a TV screen?  Now’s your chance.  Gameprom has recently added Full HD TV-Out support the iPad, plus HD Readiness for the iPhone 4 and iPod Touch 4.  Turn on, plug in, freak out.

Game Center’s Leaderboards and Achievements will soon be integrated into our pinball hits Pinball HD, Pinball HD for iPhone, War Pinball, and War Pinball HD.  Now you can astound people around the world with your awe-inspiring skills knocking around the silver ball, listing your game-specific Achievements and high scores for all the Game Center crowd to read and weep.

It’s always nice to see the fruits of hard labor, and even nicer is to see them in, in workshop tools terminology, the forge.

We’ve redesigned all of our tables especially for our Pinball HD for Mac users.  Now they are even brighter and more beautiful than before.  Below, you can see for yourself.  Rest assured that we are working diligently on Pinball HD’s development and will soon add scoreboard support (both local and global), add a multiplayer game mode, and provide support for Pinball Remote control.

How is Gameprom keeping a finger on the pulse of the Industry at large?

This January, Gameprom’s Sergiy Volskiy headed with his nameless assistant to Las Vegas to take in the Consumer Electronics Show.  A good place to keep up on what will be coming out over the next few months, as well as have your 3D photo taken in the Green Hornet Black Beauty car or being groped by a couple of models painted blue and garbed up all Worlds of Warcraft style.

We also checked out the Pinball Hall of Fame, where we learned that the curator Tim’s favorite machine is the dollar bill changer.  This place is amazing and contains vintage games older than you and in better condition, as well as a bunch of old video game favorites like Space Invaders, Breakout, and GORF!!!  Check out their photos and you’ll see what an incredible selection of oldie tables they have.  http://www.pinballmuseum.org/direct.php

On February 14, Sergiy will attend the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, then it’s back to the States for the Game Developers Conference on March 3.
