How big of a difference will there be between 3gs and Simple JSP? Will those of us with older phones/ipods be missing out on a lot? Still looking forward to it either way!
WOW! This is going to be totally awesome! Thanks for your consideration for the earlier versions! What does the whole “I’m the loneliest person in the world” and “I AM THE KING!!!!” have to do with anything though?
So, will you take the suggestions from both previous versions and put them into this version- there are a lot of great ideas and you have the chance to make this next release the best pinball app for the iphone period.
Will there be a multiball challenge.
I really miss that in wwp en tdp.
The challenge to lock balls and then
have them all on your playfield at once
would be awesome!
Can’t wait for the next Pinball game! You could make a new one like every 3 months and I would sell like crazy every time. Your pinball games cannot be beat! You should try to work in multiball bonuses and secret tables with in the main table like a space theme and the ball gets sucked into a bonus black hole and you play on a neat secret table before the ball get shot back out and you return to the main table. New things to keep us buying the new games! And at .99c you must sell a lot! I’ll pay early
Jim, the flipper freeze in The Deep is easy to reproduce (and easy to avoid) and happens in both 1.0 and 1.1. Hold the flipper up as you lose your last ball and the game ends. It will be stuck up on the main/demo screen, and stay stuck for the next game.
Years ago there was a pc pinball game I think called Android. You had to direct your ball to certain locations on the table and get to a certain score to obtain parts to build your android. This was great fun and really tested your pinball skills as some ramps and holes were not that easy to hit. After obtaining a new android part you started a new level where you had to hit all of the points again, sometimes twice and reach a certain score to get the next part. Would you consider making a pinball game similar to this?
I hope you make the physics and gameplay more similar to Wild West Pinball than The Deep Pinball. I loved WWP and downloaded TDP as soon as it came out, but I find myself ignoring TDP to play WWP almost exclusively.
Something about TDP just isn’t as fun…the physics are more floaty and there doesn’t seem to be as many routes the ball can take. Maybe I haven’t played it enough but it just hasn’t hooked me like WWP did.
So of course I will be buying Jungle Style Pinball but I hope it won’t let me down like TDP did…please keep on making amazing pinball like only you guys can!!
For it being released in October, it is a bit of a shame it wasn’t a “haunted” theme. Heck, I’m sure it’s going to be great anyway! Looking forward eagerly to the release.
I keep seeing “multiball” suggestions. “Video Mode” might work as well. Still, I’m not complaining. I already consider these to be -THE- “must have” games.
JDinFL, lets get this straight- it will be releaased in mid October- but will take 2 weeks at best for it to be approved- So November is the earliest- but knowing our luck- Apple will not like the look of the Ape or something and kick it back- thus we are possible heading into December- We needs some Christmas table action then.
Just to offer a counter argument to Matthew, I think WW is awesome, but The Deep is *much* better. It is “floatier,” and after playing some real tables (which I have a new appreciation for after getting hooked on your games), I think it is less realistic in that way, but I find it to be much more interesting overall than WW.
Can’t wait for the new game, I’m sure it’ll kick ass!
OK, so we are getting to the middle of October- how is it going on the new game? Are you done and are submitting it to Apple? We are dying to know!!!!!
I really love this game and love finding all the hidden secrets–it just never gets old. I’ve told all my friends who have iPhones or Touches to get this game, whether they are pinball fans or not…because a few minutes at Jungle Style Pinball and they will become lifelong fans. You guys at Gameprom have really upped the anti for all iPhone game developers, Малацы! (I was in Kiev in August, Очень красивиыи город). Keep the updates and new games coming, I will keep buying and reccomending them.

Well then… Do you want my $0.99 now? LOL!
Maybe you can use it for bribe money to get apple to approve your apps quicker!!!

since updating The Deep?

Since rebooting iPhone, all is fine.
Should always reboot.

Hey It’s out!!! Congratulations!!!
I’m not noticing instructions in the load screen like the other two pinballs. Will you be releasing a instruction youtube video?
Thanks and so far I think this is your best pinball!
